Future Search as an Approach to School Change 

To start our discussion, we would like you to read an article by Marvin Weisbord and Sandra Janoff about a change method they call Future Search.

Their method described a 2 1/2 day large group activity used to help organization envision their new future and create action plans to move towards that future.

According to Dr. Frank Duffy, the method has been used successfully by hundreds of school districts. A collection of case studies of the method are available in the book: Future Search in School District Change: Connection, Community, and Results.
