AECT’s Systemic Change Division is sponsoring four different awards to recognize significant contributions to the field of systemic change:
- Outstanding Change Book Award
- Outstanding Change Journal Article Award
- Distinguished Service to the Systemic Change Division
- The Charles M. Reigeluth Emerging Researcher Award.
Below is a brief description of each award along with nomination instructions. You can download information on all awards here (pdf).
Outstanding Change Book Award
Deadline for nominations: September 15th, 2009
Sponsored by: AECT’s Systemic Change Division
Books nominated must bear a copyright date of 2008, 2009, or 2010 and should be relevant to the field of systemic change, diffusion of innovations, systems theory or change management. Anyone may submit a nomination.

Outstanding Change Journal Article Award
Deadline for nominations: September 15th, 2009
Sponsored by: AECT’s Systemic Change Division
Articles nominated must have been published no earlier than 2008 in a regularly published journal, and should be relevant to the broad field of Systemic Change, special issues of a journal are eligible. Anyone may submit a nomination.

Distinguished Service to the Systemic Change Division
Deadline for nominations: September 15th, 2009
Sponsored by: AECT’s Systemic Change Division
The Change Division’s Distinguished Service Award is presented to an individual for outstanding service to the Change Division. Anyone may submit a nomination.

The Charles M. Reigeluth Emerging Researcher Award
Deadline for nominations: September 15th, 2009
Sponsored by: AECT’s Systemic Change Division
The Change Division seeks to recognize early career scholars whose work is emerging as important to the field of systemic change, diffusion of innovations, systems theory or change management. The Emergent Researcher Award is presented to the scholar who is less than 5 years into a full-time academic position, or is still in graduate school. This award is based on the body of work to that point.
Anyone may submit a nomination.
